Two black women in joy

You don’t need to start a revolution.

You just need to do your part.

Make peace with the past. Dismantle oppression in the present. Change the future. We’ll show you how.

FIRST THINGS FIRST.

Say ‘goodbye’ to imposter syndrome.

“How could I make a dent of a difference when the issues are so much bigger than me?”

Dear Good Ancestor, don’t give in to a voice that isn’t your own. A voice that holds you back from making a difference. In this free workshop, our founder and best-selling author, Layla Saad, will show you how to get out of your own way.

 WHAT WE DO

We help you become the confident changemaker that the world needs.

You’re here to heal yourself, your relationships, and the world—from personal and systemic oppression. We’re here to empower you with the tools and resources you need to do just that.

Let’s meet Layla.

Leading the Good Ancestor movement is our founder, educator, and best-selling author of the groundbreaking book, Me and White Supremacy, Layla Saad.

Layla is an East African, Arab, British, Black, Muslim woman who was raised in the West and lives in the Middle East. She combines her work as an educator with her unique intersection of identities to guide her audience on the topics of race, identity, leadership, personal transformation, and social change.

Layla’s work is driven by her powerful desire to become a good ancestor; to live and work in ways that leave a legacy of healing and liberation for those who will come after she is gone.
